Livermore Library

With its grand opening in 2005, the 50,000 SF Livermore Main Library completes the Civic Center Campus masterplan which also includes our Police and City Hall facilities.

The Library’s public entrance anchors the civic plaza and leads to a central, pedestrian oriented, skylit gallery containing the Circulation and Information desks. The gallery provides a clear sense of internal organization allowing visitors to easily identify all the major use areas of the library. Clad in local stone and landscaped with vineyards, the Library serves as a symbolic gateway into the Livermore Valley Wine Country.
