Peninsula Humane Society
The Peninsula Humane Society’s Tom and Annete Lantos Center for Compassion houses both the organization’s Companion Animal Adoption functions and their Wildlife Rehabilitation program.
The facility features a new 13,847 SF Canine Adoption Center on the first level which is connected to a renovated three-story building that houses feline and small animals for adoption along with the facility’s wildlife rehabilitation programs. New construction also includes a covered parking structure above which is located a unique outdoor wildlife rehabilitation platform featuring large and small raptor aviaries, as well as seabirds, waterfowl, songbirds and mammal enclosures. The project has achieved a LEED Silver designation.
